Mitel Secure Recording Connector (SRC)
Introduction > Requirements > Mitel MiVoice Business (MCD/3300) Requirements > Mitel Secure Recording Connector (SRC)

Overview

Connecting the recorder to a Mitel Secure Recording (SRC) server requires a valid certificate to be installed onto each recording server. The recorder needs to request a certificate from the SRC server to be able to connect successfully. The SRC refers to the call recorder as a CRE or Call Recording Equipment.

This process only needs to be done once during an installation. If however the SRC server is replaced then the certificate will become invalid and the recorder will need to be registered again on the SRC server and request a new certificate before any calls can be recorded.

To be able to approve the certificate on the SRC server a valid user account is required to be able to logon to the server that is running the SRC server.
